Welcome to Westmont, a progressive town in the middle of it all!
Westmont is a friendly village with a lot to offer. It is known for being a former home of the late “Godfather of Chicago Blues” Muddy Waters and current international headquarters of Ty Inc, makers of the world-famous Beanie Babies.
The village is convenient to downtown Chicago, whether you go by car or hop on a Metra commuter train, with easy access to O’Hare and Midway International Airports.

The Westmont Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau is a voluntary organization of business and professional people dedicated to improving the economic environment of Westmont. By fostering the development of business growth and prosperity, the entire community enjoys an enhanced quality of life. The Chamber represents members based in, or doing business in, Westmont.

Westmont has over 101 restaurants, so there should be no problem finding something to fit your taste, budget or appetite. If you’re anxious to try some tasty Chicago barbeque, be sure to stop in at award-winning Uncle Bub's BBQ Restaurant & Catering in Downtown Westmont.
Shopping
Westmont offers a vibrant downtown area with charming shops and restaurants. Ogden Avenue is the main thoroughfare. You'll find all kinds of stores, restaurants and a uniquely broad selection of auto dealers conveniently clustered together. Phillip’s Flowers & Gifts, named one of the Top 50 Florists in North America by both FTD and Teleflora, has its main shop in Westmont.
There are several other major shopping areas nearby, and Westmont is within easy access to Oakbrook Center and downtown Chicago shopping by car or train.
Attractions
Plan a visit to the historic William L. Gregg House Museum. This 1872 Victorian home/museum built by the brick maker displays collections typical of the 1920s through 1940s in authentic lifestyle settings.
The Westmont Special Events Corporation and the Westmont Historical Society have partnered to create a historical exhibit in honor of the blues legend Muddy Waters. Located in Westmont Center, the exhibit features over 40 rare and unique artifacts including obscure photos, memorabilia, and one of the Grammy Awards.
The Westmont Park District offers a variety of recreational opportunities for all ages. Spend the afternoon at beautiful Ty Warner Park or any of the 17 other well-maintained parks, or play a round of golf at Twin Lakes Golf Club.
