Words can't begin to communicate how pleased we are with the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau. In my position, I plan several conferences a year and some one day programs. When we have been in need of a venue, the DuPage CVB is the first one that I contact. Because of this professionalism and service we have had many events in DuPage County. When I explain what I'm looking for, and what our budget is, our sales representative quickly has many choices for us to choose from. The resource of the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau has saved countless hours of research and headaches. Motor Coach Group
I have been planning and escorting motor coach groups for over 25 years. I always use the expertise of the Convention & Visitors Bureaus. In 2007, a representative from the DuPage CVB helped me put together a four-day Chicago trip-lodging, restaurants, step-on guide, itinerary with a variety of activities, etc. The CVB even had an incentive at the time that helped pay the bill of the step-on guide. She met and welcomed our group upon our arrival and even went to dinner with us. The group praised the trip the whole time saying they didn't know there was so much to see and do in Chicago. I am still receiving compliments that "Chicago" was one of the best trips we have ever done. Thanks to the DuPage CVB, our Chicago trip was "the best"!

I can't begin to say how much I appreciate and thank you for the wonderful fam trip to DuPage County. From the very beginning with the reception at the Hilton Garden Inn, the superb dinner at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook, the hilarious play at the Drury Lane Theatre, and then the next two days filled to the brim with exciting experiences, the entire trip was a marvel of entertainment and education. And all the sumptuous food!

All the providers were the personification of hospitality and every one of them gave a favorable impression. I certainly hope to bring some of my residents to DuPage County. Thanks again for your kindness, generosity and hospitality.

I had an amazing time on the One Remarkable Day in DuPage FAM tour. It was certainly a fun day keeping with your theme of utilizing all of our senses - and so informative, as well. Being able to see and experience various facets of the properties was important to me and especially helpful since we saw a number of properties in a short amount of time. I was impressed with the hotels and will certainly discuss them with my clients. The hotels did a fabulous job showcasing their properties. The food and beverage offerings were excellent, and we all know how important that is to programs! The marketplace was nice and I did make a couple of connections which will lead to a future visit to DuPage County. Thanks for the fun and for being such great hosts and hostesses! Meeting/Event

I have worked for associations in the Chicago area for over 25 years, but up until this event I had never been with a group that met in DuPage County before -- and, specifically, the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center. Like so many who live and work in the City of Chicago, I was unaware of all the fabulous hotels with great meeting space, plus easy access to airports, dining, world class shopping and entertainment that the western suburbs of Chicago has to offer! Nicole Beykirch at the DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau was instrumental in connecting me with the hotel, restaurants and other attractions in the area, in addition to arranging transportation and assisting with all the additional meetings support we required in order to make this 3-day event a huge success. The DuPage CVB was a great help with registration during our conference, giving her time and knowledge to assist any of our attendees who had questions or requested information about the area. The complimentary welcome bags the DuPage CVB provided were a huge hit with our attendees! We have since booked our meetings to be held in DuPage County for the next three years. I look forward to continuing to work with the DuPage Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and will also continue to recommend them for the outstanding service and support that they provide from beginning to end.

STUDENT/ADULT GROUPS
The DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau has been extremely helpful to our company and we plan student and adult trips. Star Destinations have benefited from Julie's advice for accommodations, meals, activities, and other services for our tours.

They have arranged site inspections, even taking the time to personally escort me to various locations around the county. Through their promotion, our company is much more aware of what DuPage County has to offer, and we can pass these suggestions to our clients. And - perhaps more importantly - they are prompt in returning calls and messages, which makes my job much easier. 

We were first attracted to and made aware of the attractions and accommodations in DuPage County through a money-back offer at the Heartland Travel Show. The incentive was welcomed, and we now hope to continue a long relationship with the DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau.

We had the pleasure of working with the DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau this past winter and spring. We were putting together a high school band trip for around 120 people. They were a great help in the following areas: 
 

• Finding various places in the greater Chicago area where a band could march at a public event.
• Finding where rooms would be available that met our price and lodging needs.
• Helping to arrange side trips for our group. This included everything from pricing to help in arranging the actual excursion.

Our representative was with us every step of the way from the initial contact until the conclusion of the trip. Our organization would be very happy if we can find a reason, and hopefully we can, to work with them in the future.

FAMILY REUNION
DuPage County is the ideal place to host a family reunion. The Doubletree Hotel Chicago/OakBrook was great. The entire staff at the hotel made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot thank the DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau enough for all the nice things they provided for our reunion. I know that the next time we come to DuPage County, we can’t go wrong. They helped me throughout the reunion. They made all the name badges, provided bags and pens to stuff our "goodie bags", and I can’t forget the candy - it was all great! Our reunion was a great success!!

MILITARY REUNION
I represent several military organizations and have had the pleasure over the years of dealing with the DuPage CVB in connection with planning military reunions. I have always been a firm believer in making my first call to the local CVB in the city where I am looking to host a military reunion, and I have to admit this is one of the best I have dealt with. Our sales representative was not only very personable and professional, but her knowledge of the local area, attractions and hotels that are "Military Reunion Friendly" is a credit to her position with the CVB. She not only acts as your personal chauffeur and tour guide but puts together a comprehensive site check plan and then follows up frequently on your progress with those potential sites.
